My name is Eddie. This blog is an experiment that my friend Amy and I discussed on Thursday April 17, 2008. Over the next few weeks, months, year, I will use this site to chronicle my attempt to start, what I think will be, an interesting and useful travel website. I will refrain from calling this website idea a “web business” because, at this stage, I honestly don’t know the potential for the site to be a viable business. I simply like the idea and would like to get the website up and running. What is the specific idea? Well, I won’t tell you that just yet? Gotta have some suspense don’t we? 
And, why blog about it? Well, for starters, why not? I’m excited about the idea so why not share my excitement. I also hope the blog will prove to be a useful collaboration tool for friends and future friends who may have similar aspirations. Hopefully the writers(just me to start) and readers of this blog and other related blogs will learn a little, laugh a little, share a little, and take a few bold steps into this Web 2.0 business. But mostly, I’m hoping that this blog will be a strong motivator towards turning some of my ideas into reality. Ready? Let’s go. Wheeeee …
